Meet Founder & CEO

Kevin Crutchfield

With more than two decades of experience as a public company board director, including eight as an independent director, and two decades of experience as a public company CEO, Kevin has developed a unique global lens into resource extraction management, operations and acquisitions. He took two companies public, led a successful Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring and several critical large-scale operations turnarounds, doubled production of an enterprise-level flagship operation, and built a company from founding to $12 billion in market capitalization at its peak.

As a CEO, Kevin was responsible for the world’s largest underground salt mine and previously ran US operations for one of the world’s premier domestic and international metallurgical coal franchises. He also initiated strategic partnerships with premier global brands (e.g., Koch, LG, Ford, Nippon, Samsung, Sumitomo) to achieve meaningful win-win outcomes.

Having chaired leading US mining and energy industry trade associations, Kevin was recognized as one of the top 10 CEOs in the global metals and mining industry in late 2023.
